Cloud Software
It may be only a few pounds a month, but it soon adds up
We aren‘t a fan of the cloud. It’s a salesman’s dream come true; endless monthly payments for doing nothing. For most businesses, it just doesn‘t make sense. That’s why cloud software has such a high commission. The cloud has its place for storage and sharing data but not for ordinary software.
Let’s explain; you can buy Microsoft Office for £180 or pay £10 a month for Cloud Office 365. Over five years, that’s a whopping £600! You might be able to use it anywhere if the Internet is available, but they won’t tell you there is a free Microsoft Office available online that’s just as good, it’s there as a competitor to Google. As for updates, Microsoft only updates their software every three years and most people don’t need the extras.
